We spent last weekend exhibiting at the Main Street Festival in North Canton, Ohio, and there were definitely some standout highlights of the weekend!
1. The food
Really… who doesn’t love fair food? #TeamSquirrels maintained a steady diet of corndogs, panini sandwiches, ice cream, pulled pork sandwiches, snow cones, gyros and lemonade throughout the weekend (absolutely guilt-free, might we add).
2. The atmosphere
The Main Street Festival couldn’t have been held on a better weekend: 80+ degree weather, perfectly clear skies and the occasional breeze to keep us cool. Local dwellers, as well as people from surrounding cities, made their way to the heart of North Canton to view the vendors, music acts and other attractions.
3. The drone-ing opportunities
A few members of the Squirrels teams are drone enthusiasts, and the Main Street Festival was a perfect venue to get some great arial shots. Check out some the compilation video our team captured throughout the weekend!
4. The music
We had a great time listening to the wide variety of bands that played throughout the weekend, but we were definitely particular to a few. One of the members of our team, Corey King, and his band The Ohio Weather Band kicked off the Saturday afternoon music sets. On Sunday afternoon, The Kodachrome Babies (made up of Stephen’s wife and sister-in-law), kept attendees dancing and singing along with to the music. View photos of the bands below!
5. The generosity
We thank each and every attendee for their generosity and good spirits throughout the weekend. Not only did we enjoy speaking with each person that stopped by the booth, but we raised a great amount of money through our raffles. Attendees donated $254, which will be matched by our company and donated to local schools!
