Reflector for Android 1.1 is Available

Reflector for Android version 1.1 is now available on the Google Play Store

Version 1.1 adds audio support and video playback controls. Under-the-hood improvements have also been made. 

This update also brings Reflector for Android to Amazon Fire TV. Soon, you will be able to find Reflector in the Amazon store on your Fire TV.

Version 1.1 release notes include:

  • Adds full audio support
  • Adds hardware video playback controls for devices like Amazon Fire TV
  • Adds video playback UI
  • Adds a link to Reflector for Android support portal
  • Adds ability to email Squirrels support directly with diagnostic logs
  • Adds a message to the notification drawer that Reflector is running and broadcasting
  • Corrects a rare crash when launching

Reflector for Android 1.0.1 is Available

Reflector for Android 1.0.1 is now available from the Google Play store. The update corrects an issue that could prevent Reflector from showing in AirPlay lists. A crash related to this broadcasting issue is also fixed.

Introducing: Reflector for Android

Reflector for Android is an AirPlay receiver that runs on most Android devices. It allows your Android tablet, phone or entertainment system to receive AirPlay and AirPlay mirroring signals.

Slingshot for Android

When we launched Slingshot on May 1, we originally planned on releasing Slingshot for Android. We delayed the Android release to allow more time to make sure Slingshot worked great across all kinds of Android devices.

We’re now happy to announce Slingshot for Android!

Slingshot for Android has all the functionality of other Slingshot clients, but it’s not currently possible to share Android device screens. View screens, share files, collaborate with Meeting Minutes and more! Check out Slingshot for Android on Google Play.
