AirParrot 2.5.1 for Mac and Windows is Now Available

An update to AirParrot 2 is available! This update resolves an issue when connecting to a Chromecast running the latest Chromecast software update.

You can update AirParrot 2 by selecting “Check for Updates” from the AirParrot 2 preferences menu. Additionally, you can download the new version from the AirParrot 2 download page.

Reflector 2.5 for Mac and Windows Is Now Available

Reflector 2.5 for Mac and Windows is now available. The update brings 13 new languages to Reflector 2, including Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Dutch, Korean, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), Hungarian, Czech, Polish, Italian and Danish.

Users that have their language set to one of these languages in OS X or Windows will see the user interface in that language.

This update also adds complete screen-mirroring support for the iPad Pro 9.7” screen and the iPhone SE (frames included) and fixes black screen issues when mirroring.

If you do not have the Reflector 2 desktop screen-mirroring app, you can download it in your preferred language at http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/select-language/.

An update to AirParrot 2 is available! This version of AirParrot adds support for the new AirParrot Remote iOS companion application. AirParrot Remote is available in the App Store for $6.99.

AirParrot 2.3.2 For Mac and Windows is Available

An update to AirParrot 2 is available! AirParrot now works great with Chromecast Audio devices! AirParrot 2.3.2 corrects some bugs and user reported issues, and it also corrects user-experience issues that prevented AirParrot from working correctly in certain environments.

Mac 2.3.2 Release Notes:

  •  Improved compatibility with Chromecast audio-only devices
  •  Spotify album art for the current audio track is now loaded from the Spotify API for better reliability
  • Resolved an issue where "select an area" mode was unusable if previous single app mirroring app became unavailable
  • Better support for underscan and per-device audio level adjustments when connected to a Cast device
  • Resolved an issue that caused a black screen on two or more Chromecast mirroring connections
