New Tech Lets You Screen Mirror Iconic Nokia 3310 Cell Phone

You thought it was dead. Surprise: It's not.

Dig your old Nokia 3310 out of that one damp box in the attic above your garage. Dust off the cobwebs. Maybe blow on it a little like an old Nintendo 64 cartridge.

The screen mirroring experts at software company Squirrels today announced new technology that lets you screen mirror a Nokia 3310 to your computer using the Reflector app.

The Squirrels team is the first to painstakingly shepherd this unbreakable brick of Y2K tech into the present century.

Asked why the company invested so much in this project to mirror a Nokia 3310 on the big screen, a spokesperson said, “We just really, really like Snake. Great game.”

Thanks to exhaustive retroactive programming by its development team, the company reports its wireless screen mirroring application Reflector enables Nokia 3310 mirroring to a computer or other large display.

“We’ve been looking forward to bringing this early 2000s technology into the present day for a while now,” the company spokesperson said. “It’s so fetch.”

The initial setup to mirror your phone is simple. Start by downloading Reflector on your computer. Go to settings on your 3310, scroll down to “Cell Info Display” and click the “connect cell display” option. From there, click the “Mirror Screen” option and your phone will automatically begin screen mirroring to your computer.

Squirrels employees have been playing the Grande Valse ringtone over the PA system at company headquarters all week in celebration. Three noise complaints have been filed by neighboring businesses.

“It’s been a great week,” the spokesperson said. “A lot of customers have been confused by this release, but they’ll be thanking us when their grandmas are screen mirroring entire photo albums at family gatherings.”

April Fools. 😎
