This Ditto tvOS Receiver/Ditto Windows Receiver update introduces audio for Chrome browser mirroring, support for future moderation capabilities and easier Ditto receiver identification for end users. Discover what's new.
Share audio when mirroring with Ditto Connect for Web:
Users can now share audio when mirroring screens directly from a Chrome browser on supported operating systems. When using a Chrome browser, enter a room code at connect.goditto.com and select the option for mirroring from the browser. Tick the "Enable Audio" option to also share audio.
Note: The Ditto receiver app on tvOS or Windows is required for Chrome browser mirroring. Legacy Ditto receivers are not supported.
Moderator support:
Remote moderation is coming. This update establishes the foundation for future compatibility. Watch for an update announcing Ditto Director availability soon.
Ditto Receiver name display:
In addition to the Room Code, receiver names are now displayed on the Ditto Receiver mirroring screen. This helps identify which screen a user is mirroring to when multiple receivers are in the same space.
